"With my God I
can scale a wall"
II Samuel 22:30 (NIV)
The committed Christian is likely to come up against many walls in the
pathway of discipleship. Here are a few of them: The Wall of Opposition - it can look formidable and rumour will have
it that it has never been breached. Prison Walls - appearing to enclose us on all sides and etched with
the names of those who were incarcerated there. The Walls of Tradition - always there and keeping many from striding
out into new territory. City Walls - keeping us at an office desk, demanding job or a career
that takes all our time and energy. Hospital Walls - so high in some cases that we forget what it's like
outside.
But no child of God need feel that they are banging their head against a
brick wall because with God they can scale it |
