‘all who heard him were amazed’. When anybody gets converted the Lord does for them what they could never do for themselves.
The chief of sinners becomes the greatest of saints if you measure the change that takes place. Respectable, religious sinners need the Saviour too, and what they do once converted is as amazing as any other.
When the gospel message cracks some of the hard nuts it is amazing what milk flows out. Folk who appeared to be mute before can be heard praising the Lord and the most timid speak out boldly.
Saul of Tarsus did a complete turn around. From one who was throwing believers into prison he became one who drew people into the fellowship. Let God take hold of you and in no time at all you and others will be amazed!
