‘Because he trusts in you’ [Isaiah 26:3 (RAV)]

‘Because he trusts in you’. Putting your faith and trust in God’s promise is the safe and sure way to succeed in the life He has given you.
‘Kept in perfect peace’ is the reward for trusting in the Lord. That trust needs to be sincere and constant: it must not waver. God’s word is firm and so our trust in it must be. In the Lord is everlasting strength: His ability will never be exhausted and His attention to the needs of His children never wane.
When our peace is disturbed or broken it is because we have ceased to trust: other things have made us doubt. As though God could fail! But we look at events around us instead of looking to the Lord and listening to His Word.
Let our testimony be such that calls for an explanation and the only explanation be that our trust is in the Lord.
