‘who shall stand when he appears? ‘. While many dispute Christ’s Second Coming, those who are wise take steps to be ready for it.
Many years after Malachi, the Apostle Paul wrote that we must all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. There will be no asking us to state our case – we shall already have done that in the way we lived, the details of which God will have faithfully recorded. The prophet was specially referring to the return of the Messiah to His People Israel. The same promise of a return was made by Jesus the Messiah. He is like the refiner’s fire and a fuller’s soap. He will purify, that men may glorify the Lord. Prepare for that day now. Repent, turn to God and start living for God. Attention now will make for acceptance then.
