'he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down'. Things are always breaking down: everyone knows it is a fact of life. Repairers will always be in demand - nowhere more so than in the work of the Lord.
Some of the devil's armour seems to punch great holes in our defences at times. In the world of commerce we easily throw away and replace with new but you cannot do that with a life.
What you have begun, you must finish. Let it not be that your broken altar stays that way for long! And when your dedication and service is intact, get along and help someone else who is struggling to mend the breach in the wall.
