“He is going ahead of you” [Mark 16:7(NIV)]

“He is going ahead of you”. If the empty tomb bewildered the visiting disciples, the message of the angel resurrected them.
Mark the steps in the revelation that He gave:
Don’t be affrighted – Jesus who was crucified is risen.
He is no longer to be found in a tomb.
You may see the place where He was.
The message conveyed to all His disciples is, ‘I am going ahead of you’.
No Christian need feel pushed out in front alone – Jesus goes on before. Unexplored territory no longer exists – our resurrected Lord is in the vanguard of a great advance.
We need to identify our ‘Galilee’ – the place of service to which He has called us. Once this is done, move forward into it, for it is there we shall see Him.
