“Lord, you have been our dwelling-place in all generations” [Psalm 90:1(RAV)]

“Lord, you have been our dwelling-place in all generations”. Many generations have crossed the stage of time since the Psalmist uttered these words. Not one has found them to be untrue. Customs and habits, behaviour and dress change but God is there. Ever the same; true to His word: reaching out toward us when we seek to pass by.
We should draw upon the silent testimony of those who have gone before. Making mistakes as we do, having their doubts and fears, surrounded by evil and temptation, they would all give testimony to the truth written that God is there.
We need to turn aside as Moses did when confronted with the burning bush or fall to the ground as Saul did on the Damascus Road and see that God is calling us to the safety of faith and trust in Him.
