“seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness”. Too many have things in the wrong order: what they consider to be of prime importance is in fact of least value to them. The important piece to get in place in life’s jigsaw is the quest for God’s Kingdom. Make Jesus King and all else will fall into its proper place.
Strain for the crown of this world’s glory; go for what men call achievement – you may grasp a reward, but you will need to let it go when this life comes to its end.
Accept the righteousness which is of God by faith; take the garment of salvation. Seek God’s will and purpose in your life – you will lay up treasure in heaven and reap an eternal reward. Get your priorities right – put God first today.
