“Teach us to number our days aright” [Psalm 90:12(NIV)]

“Teach us to number our days aright”. We do need to value and properly use each day the Lord gives us. Today added to yesterday prepares us for tomorrow.
Few things are completed in a day, just as some things we need to leave for others to complete. A night’s sleep is for refreshment not for forgetting what began yesterday. God’s treatment extends from conversion to completion.
God’s plan for us is that we may increase in wisdom and stature as Jesus did and wisdom, which is promised us on request, is a degree gained in the school of experience.
Rightly numbered days may be expected to include praise and thanksgiving, intercession and proclamation. Make today one of them.
