“I will come again” [John14:3]

“I will come again”. This promise is for all the followers of Jesus. Those who fall asleep in Jesus will not be left forgotten in the grave. If the Lord is preparing a dwelling place for each one of His redeemed children, He will see to it that each one is there to occupy it. Jesus said that all who are in the grave will hear His voice.
That Jesus will Himself return to this earth has been the hope of believers all down the years and will continue to be so until that day dawns when Jesus comes back.
This promise gives a vibrant hope to every believer. The alert disciple lives looking for that blessed hope and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour, Jesus. Grasping this promise must make a profound effect upon us.
