“Let your light so shine” [Matthew 5:16]

“Let your light so shine” .Are you shining your light in the right place?
Many will recall having to hold the torch for someone to see and do a job. And some of us will recall being told to shine the light in the right place. Waving it around or shining it up into the air is of no use.
I trust you have the heavenly light – Jesus, who is the light of men. Though a heavenly light, it needs to be shone on earth – just where you are today! A hand-held torch cannot give light a thousand metres away but it can be invaluable at one metre.
Though all living in this world, we face many differing situations. What does your Christian light show around you today? It should be showing your good works and glorifying your Father in heaven.
