“whatever you ask in my name” [John 14:13(NIV)]

“whatever you ask in my name” .A personal bank account enables bills to be paid, cash withdrawn and other monetary transactions made in the easiest possible way. All this is done in the name of the bank and operation of the account must be within prescribed limits.
This can be likened to the account God has made available to His children and which operates in the Name of His Son. Business is conducted on an ‘ask and receive’ basis in the Name of Jesus.
At times account holders do go outside the conditions and wonder why nothing takes place. Such a request is selfish or self-originating and made without recourse to the Name they plead.
Perhaps worst of all are those who ask for nothing – they never receive anything!
