What’s New
Over the last few weeks we have been working on layout and contents of this site. The primary aim has been to build up a LIBRARY features.
We have begun to add the text of Booklets, and Book Chapters when they are available and will continue to add more when they are ready.
Another part of this upgrade is the Audio Library. This route leads to those messages, mainly by Maurice Paine and taken from his booklets, that were broadcast.
These two work together often giving you the option to LISTEN to the message and/or READ the booklet.
DROP DOWN MENU
More options have been added. One example is that the LISTEN AGAIN service is now directly available from that menu. [The current access via the LISTEN page will be closed soon]
Audio Library
We have started to add Audio files from the radio broadcasts. The new Audio Library can be accessed via the drop down LISTEN menu on the top bar. The plan is to add all available files over the coming months to give access to a list of helpful Bible Study material written and narrated by Maurice Paine.
The files contain the message section not the whole programme.
Website Update
Phase 2!
With some changes made to the background coding we are now ready to start work on adding much more material to out library section.
Website Update Phase 1
Phase 1 – Theme change should happen on Monday 4th June. During the following weeks we will be dealing with snags first so that the current content can still be viewed and then introducing the new designs and features.
Website Changes
By the end of March there should be changes to the layout of the Website to reflect some new features.
- Break and Meditate (Today’s Reading) will only appear on the HOME page and will open automatically. To close it click the – or to reopen it click on the +
- The Block Titles will change from:
READ / LISTEN / DOWNLOAD / SUPPORT to
READ where you will find Newsletter /News updates /Details of the current booklets
LISTEN where you will find LISTEN AGAIN (repeat of the last 6 Radio Broadcasts) and other details
LIBRARY – a new section where BAM publications will be available
SUPPORT – Link to Support page - New TOP MENU to reflect these changes.

New Radio Series
This latest series started broadcasting on the 2 December. It takes one aspect of the person and work of Jesus from each of the 21 chapters of this gospel.
Practical Christian Living:
This is the series title of the latest radio broadcasts which be began 21/22 October. The first – Walk Worthily – is now available on the Listen Again page.
New Features
While keeping the main format we are working on some new features.
One that will start to build over the next few weeks is:
Library – Booklet text and where available Audio, will appears bringing an indexed library resource.
Most of BAM’s published material will eventually be accessible from here. Look out for changes on the Page Panels!
Charly Tom – Visit to UK
It has been good to met up with Charly Tom during his recent visit to the UK and catch up on the news from the Mercy Mission site. The work of the school and orphanage continues to be highly valued.
BAM’s main connection is support for the Theological Seminary (Bible College). Since its start in 2000 it has helped train approximately 400 pastors/Christian workers. This year sadly they were not able to find places for all who wanted to attend because of the lack of accommodation for the male students. They currently have to use three ‘class rooms’ as dormitories, which not only affects how many students they can take but has a negative impact on the teaching too.
There is a real and urgent need to solve this problem by completing the upper floor of the bible college. Please pray for the funds needed to help move this important work forward.
