“full assurance” [Hebrews 10:22]

“full assurance”. God wants everyone who trusts in the death and resurrection of His Son, Jesus, to be assured of their salvation. It is finished and complete.
If you are hoping that the good things you do will assure you of a place in heaven you will never have full assurance. No assurance means that you can only hope. If you are in any way trusting in what you do, you have not understood the first thing about God the Father sending His Son to be our Saviour.
If any effort, or extra effort could have saved a soul, Jesus need never have come. The repentant thief who died alongside Jesus could do nothing, only confess and trust.
We can do no more. That thief received assurance and so may we!
