“He knows your trudging through this great wilderness” [Deuteronomy 2:7(RAV)]

“He knows your trudging through this great wilderness”. Forty years wandering in the desert might aptly be described as trudging.
In many ways our world is like a great wilderness and the path we sometimes need to take may call for trudging.
There are times when all of us wonder if we’ve missed the way: at others whether we’ll ever reach the promised goal.
But God’s Word is sure and the promise that He will never leave you or forsake you transcends the hardship.
The Children of Israel had a daily reminder of God’s provision throughout their journey in the manna and quails provided for them. They should also have realised the Lord gave them divine health and preserved them. Call it a trudge if you will, but realise the Lord knows every step you take.
