“Some were convinced by what he said, but others would not believe” [Acts 28:24(NIV)]

“Some were convinced by what he said, but others would not believe”. There need be no feeling of failure if, when you witness to someone of your faith in Jesus, they do not believe. The Apostle Paul preached and proclaimed Christ to all who visited him in Rome for the last two years of his life and he tells us, “Some were convinced … but others would not believe.”
Don’t be put off when you meet with a refusal. Any salesman will tell you that.
Keep witnessing, keep shining for the Lord. Tell all you can, by what you do and what you say, that Jesus saves. There will be many who turn away. But the promise is that some seed will bear fruit and somebody somewhere will believe.
