“The Lord has done great things for us” [Psalm 126:3(RAV)]

“The Lord has done great things for us”. Often at the time, God’s plan and purpose was obscure – you did not recognise just what He was doing. But now you can see things in better perspective. You are enjoying today the fruit of God’s blessing upon your life in days past.
The way He called you out of sin’s darkness: the way He calls to you day by day in loving guidance and fellowship. These are great things. That He has given you great and precious promises in His Word which you may prove as you exercise the gift of faith. This is a great thing. The fact that He has gone ahead, preparing the way and preparing to receive you into His eternal Kingdom.
These and the myriad other “greats” the Lord has done for us make us glad.
