“we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard” [Acts 4:20(NIV)]

“we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard”. You can’t keep quiet: what has happened directs your mind and governs your tongue. You know that if God can bless you, He can bless anybody and you tell them so.
It has been so wonderful to experience the Lord at work that you talk and testify about it and expect to see the same happening to others. It does happen, because Jesus meets the deepest need of the heart of man. And when you see that talking about Him provides an introduction and somebody responds, you want to talk to more. That is the great joy of following Jesus – becoming a fisher of men, pulling them out of sin’s mire.
It makes it all so sad when you meet those who did witness, but now keep quiet. Don’t emulate them.
