“Why do you say … ‘My way is hidden from the Lord’ “. Isaiah answers this question for all who cannot or will not believe God is at work in their lives.
The Lord is the everlasting God, Creator of all things: there is no-one greater than He. He does not grow weary or disinterested and His understanding is of everything and everybody.
He gives strength to the weary and increases power to the weak. Though all of us grow tired and weary and the most athletic stumble and fall, those whose hope is in the Lord will renew their strength.
The answer then is to place your hope in the Lord – not in yourself or your prospects. Then you will soar on eagles’ wings, run and not grow weary, walk and not faint.
