“and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever” [Psalm 23:6]

“and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever”. The Shepherd Psalm describes a relationship that will never end. In no way will the Lord help and protect you for a time, and then leave you to get on without Him.
To reach the house of the Lord is to attain the highest point of worship. To be there must mean separation for ever from the evil and snares of this life and also an engagement in glory that will never tire.
Service in the house of the Lord never becomes monotonous. There will be no stagnation there.
Most things in this life are eventually exhausted and you need a further supply – not so the exhaustless stores of our Lord.
The Lord’s sheep need be in no doubt where they are going.
