“the wells of Salvation” [Isaiah 12:3]

“the wells of Salvation”. Isaiah pictured it, the Gospel writers describe it and the Book of Acts gives us instances of sinners drawing from them. Many have been doing so ever since.
The prophet described those drawing water from these wells as doing so with joy. And what joy can equal that experienced when the sin that has separated us from God’s blessing of salvation is washed away!
That joy has sent the music of the gospel echoing around the earth. It is joy to the world and thirsty souls have come from every quarter.
Today an untold number will be coming for the first time: others will be quenching their soul thirst from the water of life. Not so deep you cannot draw from it: not so far that you cannot reach it and you are invited to come.
