“at home in the body” [II Corinthians 5:6]

“at home in the body”. The body is a comfortable home for some, for others it is racked with pain or disabled with infirmity. For all who love the Lord and look for His appearing there should be the knowledge that this home is temporary. Don’t get too comfortable or the Lord may put a thorn in the nest!
If you realise this present body is preventing you from being present with the Lord you will do all you can to fill your time down here profitably so that you have something to show when He comes or calls.
If the Lord asked, “What have you been doing while I was absent?” what would you say?
The answer to that probably determines how excited and overjoyed you will be to see Him!
