“Christ lives in me” [Galatians 2:20(RAV)

“Christ lives in me”. With these words the Apostle Paul describes the distinctive feature of true Christians in every generation the world over. They are not mere followers of Christ – Christ lives in them. For them, living the Christian life is not so much finding where the Lord is leading, but allowing Him to direct the life from within.
The Apostle could have said ‘Christ reigns in me’ for Jesus is Lord and on entry He must occupy the throne of the heart.
It is inconceivable that Jesus should be retained in an ancillary part of the life, though some seem to be misled into thinking that way. If Christ is living in you, brother, sister, He is reigning. Jesus Christ is Lord. And where He reigns blessings abound.
