“I have commanded the ravens to feed you there” [I Kings 17:4(RAV)]

“I have commanded the ravens to feed you there”. Elijah knew the brook would provide him water but he must have wondered where food was coming from. This is something that happens in the Christian pathway where we often find ourselves wondering where many things will come from. When God calls and you obey, you soon realise there are many things you will need. Whatever they are, God will provide.
The Israelites in the wilderness had manna every morning and quail meat every night. If Elijah expected the same, he found it was ravens providing him bread and meat.
It is important to realise it is God who provides however that provision is made. And the same God will provide for you as He has done for His servants all down the years.
