“in him we live, and move, and have our being” [Acts 17:28]

“in him we live, and move, and have our being”. Our every breath is given by Him!
Many would like to pursue a course through life independent of Him. Yet by saying they do not believe He exists in no way do they remove the truth of their dependence upon Him.
The knowledge that He is there can never be far beneath the surface of their conscience. We see this as they cry out to Him when in extreme danger and blame Him when things go wrong for them.
That they are far from Him is all the more reason why they should seek Him.
The God who upholds all things also loves us and expressed that love in the sending of His Son to atone for our sin. He is near us to bless us: let us reach out and touch Him today.
