“take heed to yourselves” [Luke 21:34]

“take heed to yourselves”. All the signs that now adorn our highways are of little use unless the traveller heeds them. Likewise, good words of counsel God gives His children are only of use when put into practice. God promises to come into any life that seeks Him and bring blessing, but that life must take heed it receives and keeps His gift.
The Devil is a roaring lion going about seeking to catch and ensnare the child of God. It behoves each one to take heed they do not fall in a pit he has dug for them.
God’s Word is a balance to your soul whatever strait or difficulty you are in, but you need to take heed that you properly apply it.
