“a great multitude” [John 5:3]

“a great multitude”. Chronic sufferers, cripples, psychosomatics, paralytics and those suffering as the result of an accident, yet all there with one declared purpose – to get well again. This ‘great multitude’ is a picture of the world at large. Not all suffer in this way, but all fall victim of sin which is rampant in our world. All are looking for improvement. Passing years can dampen the greatest enthusiasm and extinguish the flame of hope in anybody’s heart. Yet in Christ Jesus there is hope for every one of this world’s ‘great multitude’. He lifts the load, cleanses the guilty conscience and gives a new start to a new life.
This world’s multitude is not too great for God to single out a blessing for you today.
