“and increasing in the knowledge of God” [Colossians 1:10]

“and increasing in the knowledge of God”. The Christian life is a progression and ever moving forward. Not least in this advance is an increase in the knowledge of God.
The knowledge of God is the greatest of sciences. Those seeking after God are ever discovering new areas: their path is strewn with blessing at each turn of life’s road. God is concerned with the finest details of a man’s life. To realise this is but the beginning of untold reward – that the God of all the earth is concerned about ‘me’!
To know that God loves me is like an announcement marking the beginning of a quest which will continue right into eternity.
Increasing in the knowledge of God may begin now: it will be full of blessing, and its blessing will never end.
