“but now he has become useful” [Philemon v11(NIV)]

<p><b>“but now he has become useful”.  </b> The useless slave became a useful and dear brother.

When we have something that is useless, we throw it away. There is no reason to keep it. It is of no use. In the same way, our sin has made us useless to God. Our relationship with Him has been broken and we are in line for His wrath and judgment.

But what a difference Jesus makes! He can recycle the rubbish and make it useful once again. In Christ the sinner becomes the saint, the lost is found and the broken relationship is restored. If anyone is in Christ he is a new creation, the old has gone, the new has come. If you do not know the forgiveness from sin that Jesus gives, then come to Him today and let Him make you precious and useful to Father God.</p>
