“Christ died for our sins” [I Corinthians 15:3]

“Christ died for our sins”. This is the simple truth behind the gospel of Jesus. Unless we acknowledge our part in Christ’s death, we cannot know the forgiveness His death can bring. It was His great love for us that fashioned the plan of salvation, but it was because of our sin that He died. This is not to make us run away and hide. Rather it is to lead us to the foot of the cross and receive the forgiveness that Christ’s death offers. Because it is for my sin that Christ died, then my forgiveness has been made possible. It may not seem fair, it may not seem right, but it is the only way for us to have peace with God and know Him for ourselves. Thank Him today and experience the forgiveness that Christ’s death brings
