“Come and hear” [Psalm 66:16]

<b>“Come and hear”.</b>  God expects some movement on the part of the sinner. The redeemed ones may set out their case attractively but it is of no use if folk do not come.

The call of the gospel message is centred around this activity. Whether far away or near, the direction is the same – coming to Christ. Not religion or philosophy or the latest thing, but coming to Jesus.

Then we need to hear. It is a prayer for understanding that we need. Naturally dull of hearing the case calls for inspiration of the Holy Spirit.  Jesus described some in His day who had ears but heard not. We must not be like them. The testimony of my brother can be a blessing and help to me. My testimony should call others to come to the Lord and hear.
