“easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle” [ Mark 10:25]

“easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle”. Impossible without a miracle! Some think Jesus was referring to the need for the rider to dismount before entering through the Eye Gate of the city. Whatever it was, His words amazed the disciples who asked, “Who then can be saved?”
What the world calls riches can be the greatest hindrance to entry into the kingdom of heaven: they easily become possessive to the exclusion of all else.
On the other hand, those with something to give away (and we all have this) should seize the opportunity. Jesus told a rich young ruler to give what he had to the poor and follow Him: then he would have treasure in heaven.
The camel through the needle difficulty can be overcome!
