“Even those who challenge God escape” [Malachi 3:15]

p>“Even those who challenge God escape”. There are those who deliberately flout God’s laws and seem to get away with it. As Malachi said, ‘the evildoers prosper’, whilst those who do right often suffer oppression and hardship. You may have experienced this sort of injustice personally or with someone close to you.
The cry of saints down the centuries has been ‘How long?’ How long will God stand by? How long will He let them get away with it whilst the innocent suffer? The Lord’s reply through Malachi is that a day is coming when He will bring His justice to bear and all who have lived His way will be honoured, whilst those who have challenged Him will not escape. Along with Abraham, we can say ‘will not the judge of all the earth do right?’
