“faith in his name” [Acts 3:16]

“faith in his name”. God the Father has highly exalted His Son Jesus and given Him a Name that is above every other. At that Name all creation will one day bow: in that Name now the followers of the Lord have great promises.
Faith in His Name is essentially believing that what God says He will do, what He promises He will fulfil.
Faith in His Name meets man’s deepest need even when there is no knowing exactly what the need is. Faith laughs at impossibilities because God’s ways are not man’s ways. He knows a way around, over or through an obstacle when we can see none. Faith in the Name of Jesus healed the life-long cripple whom Peter and John stumbled across in the Temple Gate. Faith in His Name will bring deliverance to you today if you commit your way unto the Lord.
