“I was not disobedient” [Acts 26:19]

<p><b>“I was not disobedient”.  </b> Paul’s testimony to obedience was great, for disobedience was the sin that first dogged the history of the human race. It is disobedience to the Lord and His Word that causes misery and failure among those who would be Christ’s followers.

It is true that the path may look steep and the demands appear excessive for the follower of Jesus, but if God asks us to follow Him, He will give us the strength to do so.

Paul made his statement amid many who made ship-wreck of the faith and it is a clarion call for us all to heed.

If we are to please Him who has called us to be Christian soldiers, we need to be obedient.</p>
