“It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord”. Are you chasing around trying to do it all: or frustrated because you can’t do all that you want to do?
Have you forgotten that the Lord is the one who saves – saves your life from destruction by faith in His salvation, saves your hours and minutes from vain activity by His counsel and guidance and saves you from loss of friends and fellowship that you so cherish.
This is a way that many are too busy to notice – trust in the Lord engendering hope and confidence in His promises enabling a person to quietly wait.
When it’s His work there is no purpose in going ahead without Him and making it your work. Peace is the possession of those who hope and wait.
