“it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved” [Acts 2:21]

“it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved”. ‘It shall come to pass’ means that the time will come.
‘Whosoever’ builds the entrance wide enough for anybody. In reality there are those who feel that for one reason or another they have not reached that place of trust yet. But none need feel they never will get there. ‘It shall come to pass’ is a promise everyone may clutch in his quest for God.
Life is a pathway: it is not an aimless round as we might be tempted to think. Those who seek shall find and the path Godward will reach its destination.
Sometimes the words will not come forth, the call just is not there, or the promise appears so far off. ‘But it shall come to pass’ though getting there for some takes longer than expected.
