“not willing” [John 5:40(RAV)]

<b>“not willing”</b>

– unwilling to unseat pride and to exalt the Lord God.

– unwilling to lose one’s life to find a greater.

– unwilling to take up a cross, which in reality is easier than the yoke already worn.

– unwilling to step out of line from the giddy throng and to step into line with God.

– not willing to come to Jesus that they might have life.

Unwillingness makes for lost opportunities, missed promotion, stunted growth, miserable existence and a sense of failure.

Those who are willing get the best of everything. Those who will, may find assurance of eternal life in Christ.

Whoever trusts in Him will never be confounded.
