“the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit” [I Corinthians 12:7]

“the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit”. Those who are born of the Spirit must exhibit the life of the Spirit. In this chapter the Apostle Paul makes it clear that there are numerous ways in which the Spirit may be seen in a life. All have one purpose – for the common good of the Body of Christ.
No one person can appreciate the many manifestations of the Spirit and for this reason we find it difficult to recognise and to embrace all we see. The Lord understands us and has a place and ministry for each one.
The Body is so large and diverse that its glory and greatness will not be known until all is complete. It needs every member of the Body of Christ to recognise and know his or her gift and then to be sure it is used to the glory of God.
