“they may forget, yet will I not forget” [Isaiah 49.15]

March 17

“they may forget, yet will I not forget”. We live in a world where anything can happen. Who can tell what a day will bring forth?
The strongest may weaken and the straightest bend. Put all your eggs in the safest basket and you run the risk of losing them all in one jolt.
It is a timely reminder that God operates on a different plane altogether. Our friends may forsake us, God will never do so. Trust in man and he may let you down: trust God and you will never be confounded. Let a mother forget the child she has weaned, God will not forget any of His children.
Pause to thank God for remembering you. Praise Him for His love and concern. Rest in the assurance that He cares for you, that He has said He will not forget you.
