”You will not be allowed to eliminate them all at once”. Many parallels may be drawn between the restrictions laid by Jehovah upon the Children of Israel and God’s plan for His disciples today. Here is one of them. Success was not to be achieved immediately in the overthrow of the nations ranged against God’s People. It was not to be a short sharp battle followed by years of ease and laziness.
And so, the Lord Who gives you an average ‘three score and ten’ will fill each one of those years with just the degree of success needed to make the whole of your life accomplish that for which He has called you to be His servant.
It is today added to all the other days that will give the overall picture of success that the Lord has promised to give you.
