“as the clay is in the potter’s hand” [Jeremiah 18:6]

“as the clay is in the potter’s hand”. The lump of clay does not resist the potter’s work upon it. If it could resist the vessel might never be made.
The potter has complete control. Even when an attempt is thwarted for one reason and another, the potter will start again.
So the Lord will succeed with all who submit to Him. Those who resist and struggle not only lose the contest, they fail to achieve the perfection that God would give as a master craftsman.
Complete trust enables the Lord to work unhindered and to adopt plans and follow paths that we cannot understand.
Commit your life to the Lord and be sure that He who does all things well will make you to be to His eternal glory in His kingdom.
