“Be reconciled to God” [II Corinthians 5:20(NIV)]

“Be reconciled to God”. Reconciliation to God is no longer beyond man’s grasp.
We do not have to implore God to lay a pathway upon which we may tread. We read earlier that God has reconciled us to Himself by Jesus Christ. He is the way back to God – a risen glorified Saviour.
Our need – your need, my need – is to tread that path of reconciliation. This is more than church attendance, or religious observance. It is different from deeds of good or almsgiving in order to be accepted.
Reconciliation is effected in Jesus. All who would be reconciled must come to Him. The ministry of reconciliation is quite simply preaching Jesus. He reconciles whoever comes to God by Him and once reconciled God’s specific blessings can begin to flow into your life.
