“The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner” [Mark 12:10]

“The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner”. When a babe, Jesus was rejected by Herod. Early on in His ministry He was rejected by His own close family who did not believe in Him.
The crowd rejected Him on one occasion and tried to push Him over the edge of the cliff, on another all began to desert Him when His teaching became unacceptable to them.
Finally, He was rejected and crucified. But the preaching of the Cross upon which He hung has become the focal point for the church. Every member of this mystical body of “living stones” is founded upon Jesus Christ, the anointed Son of God. He is highly exalted. The rejected Son of Man has become our Exalted Head.
