“mourning into dancing” [Psalm 30:11]

“mourning into dancing”. At times we may find much that makes us sad. Losses that cannot be retrieved are just cause for mourning. The music of life often reaches our ears as a minor refrain.
One glorious hope of the gospel message is that mourning will be turned to dancing. While accepting the gospel is cause for rejoicing, subsequent persecution and suffering does cause heaviness.
The blessed hope is that all the sorrow of the night will pass away when the clouds of this life give way to the glory of eternity.
Those outside Christ may wonder when sorrow will end. All whose trust is in Jesus look forward to that blessed meeting in the air when He shall return. And that is a blessed hope that need never be extinguished.
