“the Lord your God is gracious and merciful” [II Chronicles 30:9]

<b>“the Lord your God is gracious and merciful”.</b>  All who come to God in true humility and repentance find grace and mercy. It is when we acknowledge we deserve punishment from Him we may find mercy. God’s graciousness calls on His mercy. Under Hezekiah Israel needed to put right the evil that had permeated the nation.  Some scorned Hezekiah’s call to attend the feast of unleavened bread and the Passover. These did not see any need or purpose in this and so they did not find God.

It was the great company that did come to Jerusalem from both Israel and Judah that was blessed. You will not find grace and mercy unless you come. The past is not the problem: it is your attendance now that God desires. When blessing is administered be among those who receive it.
