“You must be born again” [John 3:7(NIV)]

<b>“You must be born again”.</b>  From Jesus’ words to Nicodemus, credit for the following was not enough:

– Seeking counsel from Jesus

– Deep respect for the Person and ministry of Jesus

– Religious upbringing

– High office in the church – a Pharisee

– Exemplary public life as a leader of his nation

– A mind that tried to reason things out

– Not afraid to ask questions

Nicodemus came to Jesus with a hunger for God in his soul. Jesus almost at once told him what his trouble was.

Jesus lovingly says the same to all who are in similar need, ‘You must be born again’.
