<b>“The Prince of Peace”.</b> This name is experienced when you receive the forgiveness of sin and peace with God that He offers.
The heathen rage and the nations engage in war as the Psalmist said. National peace is an illusive goal.
To understand this title we must look at the conflict between good and evil described in the Word of God.
Throughout the Bible we see the Devil and his evil minions seeking to destroy mankind. This attack peaked when the Devil sought to prevent Jesus from giving His life to save us. In all he failed and the peace of God beyond understanding fills the hearts of those whose trust is in the Saviour. In the last days the Prince of Peace will establish His kingdom of peace in the new heaven and earth.
