“ambassadors for Christ”. Diplomatic relations between God and man were not broken off when Jesus ascended to His Father!
All who acknowledged Jesus as Lord were to become ambassadors: those who let the gospel light shine through them are ambassadors.
Jesus’ ministry on earth is still the most talked about three years in this world’s history. This talking is largely done by His disciples who are His ambassadors. The church of Jesus Christ has grown apace as its emancipating message has been conveyed by these ambassadors all over the world. No one need say ‘What can I do?’ Tell the one next to you about Jesus and in an instant you’ll know what it is to be an ambassador of the Sovereign Lord.
