“And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you” [Deuteronomy 28:2(RAV)]

“And all these blessings shall come upon you and overtake you”. So many things in life seem to be coming our way yet turn off at the last minute or disappear altogether. Not so with the blessing of the Lord upon those who love Him. Take time to read the blessings promised in this chapter.
Our hope must be in the Lord. As the eye of the servant looks to his master, so we must look to the Lord. No good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly.
As we try to see ahead, clouds that are gathering can make us despondent. But as we look to the Lord we see One who keeps His Word, whose desire is towards His children and who promises that blessing will catch up with them and overtake them. Watch out for God’s promises catching up with you and overtaking you today, and praise His Mighty Name.
